Fall 2009

So much has happened in the past 6 months that it is hard to know where to begin. Val left for Durban early in February for a simple surgery that should have had her back in Rwanda 3 weeks later ready to start preparations for our family furlough. As it turned out she was still in ICU after 3 weeks having been at death’s door and back. <more>

Fall 2008

Since returning from Kenya in June, we have been readjusting to daily life in Rwanda. At the end of July we enjoyed the annual missionary retreat at Kumbya on the shores of Lake Kivu. We had the pleasure of sharing a cabin with the speaker Antoine Ruyatisire and his wife. It was a good time of refreshment and renewal.<more>
